Chan began to learn windsurfing under the influence of her family at a young age, and it turned her interest into a specialty during her secondary school studies. She participated in many different competitions which helped change her from a quiet student to an independent and strong athlete. Those awards are only part of the harvest of her growth and what’s more, they mean a lot to her.
