The Milestones of Heung To Secondary School (Tseung Kwan O)
 

2001

Heung To Education Organization was approved by the Education Bureau to set up a new school in Tseung Kwan O.
 

2003

Heung To Secondary School (Tseung Kwan O) officially opened. The Supervisor is Ms. Yip Wai Chun. The Chairman of the School Board is Mr. Yuen Mo, and the Principal is Mr. Ng Yung Fai.
 

2004

The opening ceremony of the new school buildings was held, and alumni Mr. Cheng Si Wei, Vice-chairman of the National People's Congress, was the officiating guest of honour. The Supervisor, Ms. Yip Wai Chun and the Chairman of the School Board, Mr Yuen Mo, were awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the SAR Government.
 

2005

Parent-Teacher Association was established.
 

2007

The First Reunification Cup Invitational Table Tennis Tournament was held.
 

2008

Winner of the gold medal in the China-Hong Kong Marching Band Exhibition and Competition.
 

2010

• Principal Yeung Yiu Chung serves as the School Supervisor.
• The first runner-up in the football match (Secondary School Group) in the Junior Robot World Cup Hong Kong Open Trial

 
2011

The Alumni Association of Heung To Secondary School (Tseung Kwan O) was established.
 

2012

Champions of the Inter-school Table Tennis Competition (Men’s Grade A, Men’s Grade C and Men’s Group)

 

2013

• Students participated in the English study project competition organized by the Global Travel & Tourism Partnership and represented Hong Kong to attend the international exchange event held in Nice, France.
• Champion of the football match (Senior Group) in the Junior Robot World Cup Hong Kong Open Trial.

 

2014

• The 10th anniversary of the school was celebrated with performances, ceremonies, Open Day and other activities.
• Champion of the football match (Senior Group) for the second time in the Junior Robot World Cup Hong Kong Open Trial.

 

2015

• Mr. Yip Yin Ping serves as the School Supervisor and Mr. Tang Fei serves as the Principal.
• Winner of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (2014/15, Moral and Civic Education)

 

2016

The first Hongzhi Cup Invitational Mathematics Competition for Primary School Students was held.

2018

Champions of the Inter-school Table Tennis Competitions (Men’s and Women’s Group A Grade/ Second Group)

2019

• Winners of five awards, including Outstanding Performance Award, Outstanding Cooperation Award, Outstanding Stage Effect Award, Outstanding Actor and Actress Award in Hong Kong School Drama Festival.  
• Winner of the first prize in the 14th National Youth Future Engineers Expo and Competition (Secondary School Group).
• Champion of Women's Open in Junior Windsurfing Competition 2019
• Students' inventions were selected for the Singapore International Invention Exhibition.
• Champion and merit award of the writing competition (Senior Form Group) organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China
• Winner of the Certificate of Merit in the 19th Asia-Pacific Information and Communication Technology International Awards (International Competition)

2021

• Winner of the gold medal in the 4th China (Shanghai) International Invention and Innovation Exhibition
• Winner of the gold medal (High School Group) in the 16th Soong Ching Ling Children's Invention Award.
• Winner of the Young Writer Award in the 11th University Literature Award
• Principal Tang Fei was elected to the 7th Legislative Council with a high number of votes

 

2022

Winner of the Silver Medal at the Korea Science & Engineering Fair 2021.
