My favourite holiday destination

My favourite destination is Whistler, located at the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. It is known for world-class skiing and stunning landscapes. It offers something for everyone, no matter the season. Whistler left an unforgettable impression on me.

During the Christmas holiday last year, my family and I went to Whistler for a short break. When I first arrived in the towering snow-capped peak of Whistler Blackcomb, I was astonished by it. The peak seemed to rise endlessly into the sky. As well as the cozy village, dotted with lights and skiers carrying their gear, it felt like a winter wonderland!

I remember the moment when I was strapping on my skis, I was both nervous and excited. The slopes were steeper than I thought, but the sound of my skis gliding over the snow and the rushing on my face made it all worth it. The view from the top of the mountain was incredible.

Besides skiing, we also tried ziplining for the first time. I was enthusiastic to try it! Enduring the challenges, I was soon able to manage. Flying through the trees, with cold mountain air rushing past, was a thrill like no other.

Staying in the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre is a perfect way to end the day. I loved waking up to the straight of snow-covered rooftops from my room’s window. Soaking in the outdoor saltwater pool with steam visiting into the crisp air was pure relaxing.

Looking back, the holiday was a journey to a winter paradise. The outdoor activities and peaceful moment in the village are the memories that I would cherish forever.
