In March, I was glad to have a chance to visit T-Park. It is such a spacious and modern factory. During the tour, I have learned a lot about “Waste-to-energy” technology which is a process by which the waste is converted into heat or electricity by using various types of technologies. It allows the factory to sustain self-sufficiency. New technology can reduce a large amount of waste in landfills.

After the tour, I hope that I can make great effort on environmental protection for Hong Kong in the future. Also, I hope people’s attitudes and behaviours will be changed towards waste management and resource recovery and recycling.
