Ma Yau Tong Village is situated in Tseung Kwan O which has been established for about 200 years. There have been three indigenous inhabitants, including Li, Zeng and Zhu. Ma Yau Tong Village is a Hakka village, its traditional cultures such as township offices, ancestral halls, and Chinese Martial Arts Club have been passed down from generation to generation for more than 200 years.

Our S2 students visited Ma Yau Tong Village aiming to explore the historical evolution of its past and present, not only to complete the project report and enrich students’ learning experience, but also to learn how to carry forward its traditional culture in the impact of the times.
