Precautionary Measures to Prevent the Spread of Influenza or Bird flu:
1 children with fever and respiratory symptoms should not attend school;
2 affected children should be promptly isolated;
3 staff with respiratory illnesses should refrain from work;
4 the following measures should also be closely observed:
(a) to maintain good personal hygiene and wash hands after sneezing or coughing;
(b) to maintain good ventilation by keeping the windows open and turning off the air-conditioning as far as possible; and
(c) to wear face masks and consult doctor promptly if influenza-like symptoms develop.
預防流感或禽流感擴散措施：1 學生出現呼吸道感染病徵時，應避免上學；
2 受感染的學生應盡快與其他學生分隔；
3 患病的教師或工作人員亦應暫時離開工作崗位；
4 遵守以下的預防措施：
(a) 維持良好的個人衞生，打噴嚏及咳嗽後應洗手；
(b) 盡量關掉空調及打開窗戶以保持空氣流通；及
(c) 如有流感病徵時，應佩帶口罩及立即求醫。
